GDPR
Effective Date: January 1, 2023
Wisetail believes in the personal privacy of all people and takes its responsibility to protect personally identifiable information (PII) seriously. Because of this, Wisetail actively adheres with the defined requirements in the GDPR regulation. All personal data that is stored, transmitted, or processed in the Wisetail system is not shared with third parties, is not made public, and is not used for public interest or historical research. Wisetail is considered the data processor, clients are considered the data controllers, and the data subjects are considered the employees of the data controllers for the purpose of GDPR compliance.
Information Removal
The data subject can request their information be deleted or removed from the system through a request submitted to the data controller. Upon receipt of the request from the data controller Wisetail, acting as the data processor, will remove all personal data associated with the user in accordance with Article 17 of the GDPR regulation.
Transferral
The data subject can request their information from the system at any time through a request submitted to the data controller. Upon receipt of the request from the data controller, Wisetail acting as the data processor, will transfer all personal data associated with the user in accordance with Article 20 of the GDPR regulation in a structured, commonly used, machine readable format. The personal data will immediately be transmitted to the requested and verified alternate controller.
Modification
The data subject can request their information be modified or corrected in the system through a request submitted to the data controller. Upon receipt of the request from the data controller Wisetail, acting as the data processor, will alter all requested personal data associated with the data subject in accordance with Article 16 of the GDPR regulation.
Data Processing Agreement
DPAs are required to be signed and agreed to by all data controllers before any personal data is transmitted to or stored in Wisetail’s system.
